Erica

/
I did a test shoot with Erica on Sunday in Rogers. The shoot was to see how she does in front of a camera, plus she wanted some portraits to give to her husband for Valentines Day. I'll be shooting with her again in the future for personal projects like bridal portraits, stock, etc.

Glad you like the photos Mark.

Shot with my Canon 5D and 85mm f1.8, except the loose horizontal was shot with a 35mm f2.0. My main light on all of them was White Lighting through a 5-foot Photoflex Octabox. For a background light, if present, I used a White Lightning through a grid spot (plus red gel for the last photo).

I'll have more stuff coming in the near future. This is just a start. More shoots, more ideas...

Marc,
I'd love to do more lighting stuff like that but, as you know, all I've got is my Alien Bee B400 and my 430EX flash.

How do you like the 5D? I've used one a couple of times. When the Carlisle girls won the state championship in basketball, Julie Inman's aunt and I have taken the team photo for the gymnasium using her 5D. After a boating incident, she's got the 5D Mark II.

I can't wait to see more photos of Erica. Take care
